Home Learning

Today Olivia and Stephanie shared some great home learning.  Olivia made a fabulous poster about fantails and Stephanie made a mask and wrote a report about Kaka.

Here is Stephanie's report –
Kaka
Kaka have a black beak and a black or brown forehead.  Kaka have red cheeks.  Kaka have lots of feathers that can help him fly.  The beak is the shape of a diamond.  It has two legs that help him walk.  It is a bird and it is native to New Zealand.  It has a brown nostril.  This Kaka has lots of colours like brown, yellow, red and black.

Harvest Festival

Rebekah shared her knowledge of The Chinese Moon Festival on our Cultural Day. She dressed in a Chinese costume and brought Moon cakes for everyone to try.

Landscape Painting



We painted these landscapes with Mrs Shepherd.  The surprising thing is we didn't use paint brushes.  We had to use fingers, sponges, twigs, sticks and leaves.
