Jump Jam Competition

Car Wash

On Saturday the 12th of November, the Junior and Senior Jump Jam squads went to a Jump Jam competition on the North Shore.  Our routine was called Car Wash.  

We went on stage second.  We were very nervous when we got up on stage.  When the music started we had massive smiles.  When our routine was finished a man in blue asked questions.  

When it was prize giving Summerland came 4th and we got a trophy - the colour was gold.  Then Western Heights came 1st, congratulations Western Heights!  After we did our routine we were proud of ourselves that we came that far.

Jeongmin's Voicethread

I went to the Waitakere Library and we saw some people writing names in Hangeul for others.  There were lots of people who wanted one made but there weren't many to help.  Mum decided we should help. We asked if we could help and they said we should get little Hangeul alphabet toys and then we taught people how to write their Hangeul name with those letters.

I have added a Science page to our learning links wiki. You might get a chance to explore some of the activities over the holiday. Take special note of the material world section - this supports our Term 3 learning about the changing states of matter. Other activities will be added as I find and trial them - Have fun with your learning!
