Maui and the Sun

We have been learning about the sun and the important role it plays in how the Earth works.

Science Knowledge 'Athon'

We have been learning our science facts for the 'Athon'. One of the questions we were wondering about was 'What are amphibians?' Here is a great site from the San Diego Zoo that gave us lots of information that we know will be reliable.

Growth Mindset

We have been talking about how we can grow our brain and become smarter. Having a growth mindset can help us do this. Watch this video from the University of California.

Tacky the Penguin

We have been reading the Tacky the Penguin books by Helen Lester. Tacky is an odd penguin with some unusual qualities that help him and his friends. We have written character descriptions about him.
